Our Youth Development Program is designed for beginners and intermediates. Each week, we will focus on fundamental skill sets and then build upon them each session. Toward the end of each session, participants compete against each other in different competitive formats.
Participants will initially be grouped according to age and skill and we will move athletes to the appropriate group, depending on how they are progressing during the clinic.
One important aspect to the age groupings is the weight of the ball used. Based on USAV guidelines, athletes in the 8-12 year old clinics will work with volley lite balls. These are adult size volleyballs that are constructed of lighter materials, and thus easier to contact for younger players. The net height is also adjusted for younger ages.
Our programs will help athletes learn how to play the game in preparation for joining school teams and/or one of our club teams. Our goal is to build a solid foundation to enjoy volleyball for a lifetime.
Peak Performance Program (Coming Soon!)
Our Peak Performance Program is designed for athletes that are looking to take it to the next level with clinics focused on specific skills.
