REGISTRATION

  • Registration opens March 20 and closes May 26, 2023
  • Register Online with a credit card or PayPal
    • Registration could close early if divisions fill. Teams accepted on a first paid, first accepted basis. Late registrations accepted on a space available basis.
  • Cancellation made prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of their entry fee minus $50 cancellation fee. No refunds given after the registration deadline.
  • Divisions may be combined, changed or cancelled as needed. Space is limited.

DETAILS

  • Cost is $225 per team
  • Age-based Divisions are Women’s 40+ and 50+ (as of Dec. 31, 2023)
    • Divisions may be combined if there are insufficient teams in each division.
  • Location: Carrboro High School, 201 Rock Haven Rd, Carrboro, NC 27510
  • Medals for 1st and 2nd place in each division
  • Format: 4-team pools will play best 2 (to 25) out of 3 (third game to 15). 
  • USAV Rules apply (but you do NOT have to be USAV registered player or team).
    • Teams should wear matching shirts with easy to read numbers; libero must wear a different colored shirt
  • Each team will be required to work matches 
    • Professional R1 provided for each court
    • R2 must know rules and scorekeeper should be able to track libero and next server (USAV scoresheets)
    • Teams must report for their work assignment or forfeit next match
  • All players must sign a waiver prior to play
  • No concessions on site, but drink/snack vending machine available
  • WATER ONLY in the gym - absolutely no food in the gym. Eating areas available outside the gym

SCHEDULE

  • Play begins at 9 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Facility opens at 8 AM. 
  • Please arrive no later than 8:30am to check in
  • 1/2 hour break on each court following third match
  • Playoffs immediately following pool play.
  • Play and work schedules will be posted on or after May 30, 2023
